EA Week on Steam, Capcom Week on Direct2Drive

Get excited, it's EA week on Steam! Everyday this week Steam will have a sale on a specific EA franchise. Be sure to check back each day to see whats on sale. Today's deal is on the Dragon Age series.

You are a Grey Warden, one of the last of this legendary order of guardians. With the return of mankind's ancient foe and the kingdom engulfed in civil war, you have been chosen by fate to unite the shattered lands and slay the archdemon once and for all. Explore a stunning world, make complex moral choices, and engage in bone-crushing combat against massive and terrifying creatures.

The Ultimate Edition includes all the DLC and the expansion pack, Dragon Age: Awakening. This is an incredible value and well worth your money. This is one of the best RPGs I've ever played and will last you anywhere from 50-100 hours depending on how many side-quests you plan on doing. This is a MUST HAVE!

Dragon Age 2 - 25% off - $44.99
Experience the epic sequel to the 2009 Game of the Year from the critically acclaimed makers ofDragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2. You are one of the few who escaped the destruction of your home. Now, forced to fight for survival in an ever-changing world, you must gather the deadliest of allies, amass fame and fortune, and seal your place in history. This is the story of how the world changed forever. The legend of your Rise to Power begins now.

Sadly, this game doesn't quite compare to Origins. Still a great game, just not the quality you would expect from Bioware. I only recommend this game for people dying for some more Dragon Age. If not, I'd wait until it goes 50% off or more, later in the year.

Capcom Week on Direct2Drive

It's Capcom week on Direct2Drive and all week they are offering deals on all major Capcom titles. This includes games like, Resident Evil 5, Dead Rising 2, and Streetfighter IV. Definitely worth checking out. Here is a link over to the sale page.

First Post! Steam's Midweek Madness, Other Deals.

Hello and welcome to PC Game Deals, a blog dedicated to finding the best deals on PC games (digitally distributed for the most part) on the internet. The blog will be updated at the very least, two to three times a week. To get things rolling, we have Steam's Midweek Madness.

Arma 2 - 80% off - $7.99

Building on 10 years of constant engine development, ARMA II boasts the most realistic combat environment in the world. It models real world ballistics & round deflection, materials penetration, features a realtime day/night cycle and dynamic wind, weather and environmental effects. The simulation of a combat environment is so effective, the engine forms the basis for training simulators used by real armies the world over.
Although ARMA II is set in the fictional ex-soviet state of 'Chernarus' the gameworld is actually a 225 square kilometer chunk of the real world! ARMA II's highly detailed landscape is a meticulous facsimile of real terrain, modeled using extensive geographical data. This recreated region is brought to life with spectacular environmental effects and populated with dynamic civilian settlements and wildlife. Wild animals roam the atmospheric forests while the people of Chernarus try to live out their lives among the war-torn streets.
The 27th U.S. Marine Expeditionary Unit have been deployed to the former soviet country of Chernarus in this third installment in the series of award winning PC war simulators from Bohemia Interactive, creators of Operation Flashpoint*: Cold War Crisis and ARMA: Combat Operations.
Force Reconnaissance Team “Razor” are among the first to fight. This elite five-man team are about to fall down the rabbit hole, trapped in a war not only for control of the country, but the hearts and minds of its people.
